Plast Eurasia 2024

At the beginning of December Matsui went to the Plast Eurasia 2024 in Istanbul, Turkey. This is one of the most important events of the sector; last year 1375 exhibitors from over 43 countries welcomed around 62000 visitors.
The show covers all the different products and branches, starting from raw chemical materials up to semi-finished goods, auxiliary equipment and automation options.
In 2023 we were already present in cooperation with our local partner TSP and we proposed a live molding demonstration to express at best our production philosophy. If you wish to know more about it, you can read here.
In this edition, TSP hosted us again at its booth. We proposed a live-functioning molding demonstration that functioned with 100% recycled PC-ABS, based on the three principles at the heart of our business concept: material handling, thermal balance and mold ventilation.
The slow-speed granulator SMGL3 crushed the recycling material to a uniform size, then the Magic Catch and the ARV removed any ferrous and dust foreign parts. The dehumidifying dryer MJ6-i dryed it to a constant temperature and saved up to 83% energy; after this, the Static Eliminator removed any static potential left on the material. The air-cooled single-head Repelletizer transformed the regranulate into virgin-like pellets, working at a below-melting point temperature to avoid disrupting the material´s mechanic features. The newly formed pellets underwent a second cleaning through the APH and then were accurately mixed and dosed by our new gravimetric blender JCGB2 before entering the injection molding machine.
