Call (+49) 69 1534 3013 Mold Vacuum Device MAG Gas suction device to suck the gas out of the cavity The plastic injection molding sector has to face often the issue of gas generated from resin: gas is caused by the injection of the resin into the mold, by drying and melting of materials. One method to overcome this challenge is gas recovery. A gas vent is added to the runner part or mold of the molded product to let the gas escape. The mold gas suction device MAG-01P/-02P prevents gas from adhering to the mold. You can ventilate your mold with our Mold Breather pins. Compact design and easy maintenance Thanks to its compact size, it´s possible to install the MAG close to the molding unit even in narrow spaces. The short distance between the tubes allows for high suction efficiency when into action. Moreover, the filter situated on the back of the device is able to completely catch the sucked gases. It is equipped with filter exhaust air speedometer, so that it´s possible to constantly monitor the situation and avoid missing the routine maintenance timing. Suction without cooling To avoid oversucking, the MAG allows to select two suction modes, that can be adjusted in 0.1-interval seconds to optimize the process. Pressure control This modality is recommended when it´s necessary to preserve high quality of surface and strict pressure control. Timer control This modality is recommended for continuous suction molding even when pressure is fluctuating.
