Call (+49) 69 1534 3013 SMG-030/050 High-speed granulator The SMG-030/050 is a high speed granulator particulary indicated for small concentrated batches. The hopper is equipped with a double-layer damping design for noise reduction; moreover, safety in operation is ensured through an internal baffle curtain that prevents material from flying out. High-quality regrind material The granulator screen is provided with oblique holes, which differentiates from conventional screen shapes: with straight screen holes, it might happen that sprues or miss-cuts pass through the mesh filter and cause problems and/or disruptions of the production process. However, the oblique screen holes of the SMG-030/050 block any miss-cut, ensuring that the material gets grinded to a uniform size. Depending on the model, the average throughput can be 30kg (for SMG-030) or 50kg (for SMG-050). To contribute to the optimal quality of the regrind material there are also slanted knives in the cutting chamber. You can see in this graph below how the size of the regrind tends to be grouped on average between 2 and 5 mm (32,08% and 30,57%), with very small percentages registered regarding other possible dimensions. Safe and silent The double-layer damping in the hopper prevents material from from flying out. Both the hopper and the lower box are provided with limit switches for an extra safety. The chamber can fully open, to allow thorough cleaning and easy maintenance with no dead corners.
