NPE Plastics Show 2024

At the beginning of May, Matsui participated in the NPE Plastics Show 2024 in Orlando, Florida, in the USA. It’s the largest plastics trade show in the American continent. This year it featured around 2100 exhibitors from over 130 countries, attracting more than 50 000 visitors. The show covered six main areas of the sector, among which circularity, recycling of plastic materials, moldmaking and advanced manifacturing.
We cooperated with our American section, Matsui America Inc., to organize our booth around the central theme of innovation, with a particular focus on the new challenges of sustainability and recycling. For instance, among all our machineries, we proposed our dehumidifying dryer MJ6-i, which saves up to 83% energy, and the MAG and Mold Breather. These devices, especially when used together, efficiently remove air and gases from the mold, significantly reducing the clamping force needed to maintain the mold in position and decreasing quality defects in the final product.
