Push Damper

Material cut-off unit

push damper no back

Material remaining stuck in hoses after drying might cause serious problems during the production process. The Push Damper can help overcome this issue, as it eliminates residual material inside your conveying hoses and, therefore, prevents moisture reabsorption.
Material flow is controlled by cutting off the conveyed material by a constant quantity. It´s the ideal solution for batch conveying systems, since it can be attached to the bottom of any machine below the manual slide-damper flange.

Discover the many benefits

The Push Damper prevents the material from reabsorbing the moisture after drying. Moreover, the temperature drop is reduced by filling the material conveying line with dehumidified dry air before the conveying process starts.

push damp gap

Dehumidifed dry air

A part of the dehumidified dry air, supplied to the drying hopper, flows into the material conveying pipeline through a gap between the discharge port.
The dehumidifying air flows into the pipeline also during the drying process, so the dew point of the material transport pipeline continues to be low even before the conveying starts.

Other expected effects

The diagonal mechanism of the Push Damper allows materials to be discharged smoothly and to prevent jamming. In addition, the powder pressure on the valve body is reduced and, thus, it´ll be able to move more smoothly.
