[Exchange Point]
1. Remove Feed Hopper

[Point]

Hopper is positioned by front clamps and bolts at the rear side

{Note}

Due to its big size, please use caution when opening the Feed Hopper.
2. Measure the gaps between cutters

[Point]

Measure gaps between the fixed cutters, small cutters and rotating cutters very thoroughly.
The standard gap should be 0.2mm.
Use shim tape to measure.
For your convenience, have shim tapes of 0.2 mm, 0.15 mm and 0.1mm when measuring.

Insert shim tape between the gaps and keep measuring until gap narrows under certain shim tape.
3. Remove motor lines from geared motor terminal box and remove keeper plate from geared motor side. Keeper Plate can be removed if cap bolt is loosened.

[Point]

The motor lines are hooked-up by 4 mm nuts and screws.
When disconnecting the motor lines, please remember how the lines were connected.
Keeper plate will come out once cover is removed.
4. Use snap ring pliers (w/holes) to remove snap ring.
5. Set spacer to removal jig to reinstall snap ring.

[Note]

Because it is a heavy machine, lift geared motor with a crane. Once jig is set, work while using caution to prevent motor from dropping.

(1) circular board (2) spacer (3) M16 bolt (4) snap ring
6. Remove cap from opposite side of motor. Then remove keeper place. Keeper plate is positioned by two cap bolts.
7. Hit shaft of opposite side of motor. Remove snap ring set in front of bearing on the side of motor.

[Point]

If the snap ring at the motor side comes forward and is distant from the bearing, remove.
